SFA Purpose Statement
The St. Michael School Family Association exists to support the school needs through community building and fundraising.
SFA Mission Statement
Raise funds to provide resources such as support, appreciation, supplies, equipment, technology, etc. to students, school teachers and staff as needed.
The goal for school year 2018-19 is to raise $50,000 which will be used to provide support to St. Michael school and staff.
These earned revenue experiences will not only assist in raising funds but will also assist in building the St. Michael community. The activities are listed in order of importance based on the return on investment determined by SFA board members.

- Fundraising Goal: $20,000 net
- SFA Lead: Tina and Cleve Reeves

CHRISTMAS TOUR OF HOMES
- Fundraising Goal: $4,000 net
- SFA Lead: Jenny and Charlie Medinger
- Timeline: December 2, 2018
TRUNK OR TREAT
- Fundraising Goal: $1,000 net
- SFA Lead: Cara and Taylor Ashburn
- Timeline: TBD
DEVELOPMENT OF ANNUAL CORPORATE SPONSORSHIPS
SFA Lead: Coty and Ed Ring
Timeline: Early September
Community Building Events
These events will focus on providing members of the St. Michael community the opportunity to meet other families and become more connected, as well as work to encourage parents to enroll their children at St. Michael. There will be a very limited fundraising capacity to these events.

- Preschool Celebration
- First Communion
- First Confirmation
- 8th Grade Graduation
- Parents Night Out
- Playground Parties
- Family Movie Night
- Board Game Night
These ideas will be considered later in the year if time and volunteers allows.

These ideas can be discussed among the school community and if a volunteer is willing to step up and organize the activity the SFA would provide support as needed. If a volunteer does not come forward to lead these, the idea will not be pursued by SFA due to time constraints.

● Box Tops -- being sponsored by Amanda Terrano
It should be noted that it was voted upon by the SFA Board that no dues will be collected this year. In previous years, $10/family was collected during school registration.
